The Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Tuomo, Delta State (Establishment) Bill (HB 557) sponsored by Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has been ascented to by the Nigerian Senate as it passed third reading on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022.

Recalled that the bill has passed a lot of legislative scrutiny in the House of Representatives within the last years and has been transmitted to the Senate for concurrence now. 

While adrressing newsmen, Comr Victor Isereke, legislative aide to Hon . Pondi described the development  as a big win for the people of Burutu Federal Constituency.

In his words: “This will be the very first federal institution in our constituency if eventually ascented to by Mr President despite the countless crude oil deposits and oil installations in our constituency prominent amongst which include the SPDC Forcados terminal, in Delta “

He added that this is one amongst the many plans of his principal to galvanize support of his colleagues to ensure that Burutu federal constituency gets her fair share in the distribution of the Nations  wealth.

Comr. Victor enjoined Burutu federal constituents to continue to support the lawmaker to succeed as there are more of such people oriented bills and projects his boss is working on to bring more value to the constituency.
