BREAKING: Former PDP Ward Chairmen Endorses Pondi For Third Tenure Ahead Of 2023

The duo of Mr. Actor Prebor and Comr. Gbaboyo Wurus, former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmen of all Ward chairmen in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have endorsed Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives for third tenure ahead of 2023.

The duo made the endorsement  via a joint statement signed and circulated to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers. 

Actor Prebor and Gbaboyo Wurus noted that although 2023 is two years from now but maintained that it is important they make the open endorsement of Hon. Pondi, adding that it is a natural law to encourage hard working and result oriented people, stressing that Hon. Pondi is one of such leader that should have another tenure if he so desires. 

The statement noted that Hon, Julius Pondi is not only vocal in the House of representatives by presenting issues affecting his primary constituency, Ijaw nation and the whole of Niger Delta, it maintained that he has influenced lots of development to Burutu Local Government via his constituency development projects and his political connections. 

Some of such projects that deserves commendation according to them include the just awarded Odimodi/Ogulagha road project by the Delta State Government. 

The proposed bill seeking for the establishment Aquaculture School in Tuomo, Burutu Local Government Area is on top gear in the house. insisting that giving him a third tenure will give him time to follow up the proposed Tuomo school to fruition, prudent management of constituency development projects as well as influencing political appointments to the Local Government where identified as some key attributes that stands him out. 

The duo also described Pondi as a humble leader as despites his status and position he is occupying as a national lawmaker, he still wines and dines with the people by making himself available even to his discomfort in attending functions of his people. 

The continued that, Pondi is the only youthful leader in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, stressing that since he is doing well he should continue to be there for youths of the Local Government to have a sense of belonging in the polity. 

Prebor and Wurus stated that the decision was taken after a critical look and analysis of what the young lawmaker has done over the years, adding that after the endorsement, they will continue to work using all within their positions in ensuring that Pondi returns back to the house come 2023.

Meanwhile, The Liberator Newspapers was unable to reach the young national lawmaker on his take about the endorsement.
