BREAKING: GYC Stops White Dove Shipping Company Vessel From Gbaramatu Waterway, List Demands
Apex youth body in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State under the aegis of Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) yesterday protested and stopped movement of a crude carrying ship in Gbaramatu river belonging to White Dove Shipping Company, one of the numerous companies owned by Dr Ernest Obiejesi of Nestoil and Neconde Energy Limited, Operator of OML 42 Asset.
According to the president of Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC), Comr. Shadrach Onitsha Ebikeme who hinted The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide on the protest noted that the stopping of the vessel is to register their anger to Dr Ernest Obiejesi for failing to carry council along in his dealings with the kingdom and other pending issues.
The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide learnt that the slogan for the protest was #No Local Security, No Movement of Vessels, # Enough is enough, Gbaramatu Waterway is not a free trade zone for any business man, #Ernest Obi cannot render our youths jobless all in the name of maximizing profit, #As long as your vessels are passing through Gbaramatu Waterway, the Gbaramatu Youths Council must be engaged.
President Ebikeme noted that the security and calmness of the Gbaramatu Waterway cannot be compromised for any individual’s personal business interest.
However, Comr. Onitsha warned that the vessels will not pass through the Gbaramatu waterway until Dr Ernest is able to settle all issues bedeviling Oml 42 under his operation.

GBARAMATU YOUTH’S COUNCIL STOP MOVING VESSEL WITH THE SLOGAN, #NO LOCAL SECURITY NO MOVEMENT OF VESSELS# THE SECURITY AND CALMNESS OF THE WATERWAY OF THE KINGDOM CANNOT BE COMPROMISED FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL’S PERSONAL BUSINESS INTEREST. ERNEST OBI CANNOT RENDER OUR YOUTHS JOBLESS ALL IN THE NAME OF MAXIMIZING PROFIT. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, GBARAMATU WATERWAY IS NOT A FREE TRADE-ZONE FOR ANY BUSINESS MAN. LASTLY AS LONG AS YOUR VESSELS ARE PASSING THROUGH THE GBARAMATU WATERWAY, THE GBARAMATU YOUTHS COUNCIL MUST BE ENGAGED.
