Our source had however fingered one Mr. Bomadiwei Arugbo as the chief informant who took the officers to invade the settlement in the name of hunting for illegal bunkers.
It would be recalled that the alleged invasion took place at about 6:47Pm yesterday the 28th of April 2019.
In his words: “This same Bomadiwei Arugbo with gunmen, went to Pere-ama community 21st of Sep. 2018, and carry out door to door operation and go away with peoples household properties and monies.
“The leaders of Isaba kingdom are not happy with this kind of barbaric and criminal attitude of Bomadiwei Arugbo.”
Meanwhile, Hon. Moses Ogugu, councillor representing the people of Isaba ward in the Warri South West Legislative Arm had condemned the act in its entirety, describing it as provocative, barbaric and uncalled for.
He had further stated that Pere-ama in Isaba kingdom which is under his legislative watch is not hosting any oil facility nor involved in illegal bunkering activities and had wondered on why the community could be invaded this way.
