Spokesman of the Burutu North and South Coalition for Equity (BNSCE) group in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Pullah Abeki has resigned his position and membership of the group.

This was contained in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

According to him, his resignation is due to the fact that he is aligning himself to philosophies that are in tandem with Ijaw Governor come 2023.

On the Burutu House of Representatives seat, Pullah said ethically and morally, Burutu North should occupy the seat, stressing that it is only normal and not out of place.

In his words: “South started first and did 3tenures. North took over and  about to complete their 3tenures.

“It is time for north too to start  fresh 3tenures because  it is not written anywhere neither was it agreed anywhere that it must start from South again.

“In fact equity demands that the north should choose first this time since it was South that choosed first in the 4th republic 1.” Pullah Abeki added.

He particularly likened the Burutu Federal Constituency issue to that of Delta Ijaw for 2023 Governorship bid, adding that it is truly the turn of Ijaws in Delta South to produce the next Governor of the state since the first circle of osusu has been completed.

Meanwhile, in our bid to balance this story, a call was put across to the Chairman of Burutu North and South Coalition for Equity, Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi, he stated that he is not aware that Pullah is resigning because he has not been informed by Pullah.

He continued that whatever be the case, the group is not perturbed as human beings are unpredictable.
