Performing leader of the Burutu Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze has lauded the Governor of Delta State for his proactive steps in the fight against coronavirus in the state.
The Burutu Legislative hero made the assertion yesterday in Kiagbodo, his primary constituency while addressing journalists on the state of affairs in Delta.
Leader Alubeze noted that Deltans are truly lucky to have Okowa at the helms of affairs, stressing that he is proud of the Governor anytime, anyday and anywhere.
He also described Okowa as a God sent to Deltans, adding that coronavirus will soon be a thing of the past, just as he called on Deltans to always adhere strictly to the preventive measures put in place by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
Speaking further, Hon. Asiaye also appreciated the Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), political leaders, individuals and companies that rolled out palliatives to Deltans to cushion the effect of the lockdown caused by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Burutu Legislative Arm Leader had further commended Hon. Godknows Angele for his contribution in the fight against coronavirus in the Local Government Area.
Alubeze maintained that the legislative arm is closely working with the executive arm of the Local Government, headed by Angele in ensuring that there is strict compliance to the safety rules and the distribution of palliatives across the Local Government.
