Burutu House Leader Alubeze Rejoices Over Tompolo’s High Court Judgement

The leader of Burutu Legislative House, Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze has rejoiced  over the recent court judgement exonorating High Chief Government Ekpemupolo popularly called Tompolo of allegations of fraud by the Federal Government.

Hon. Alubeze  who  was speaking on behalf of all the councillors in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State and his family in an exclusive chat with The Liberator Newspaper yesterday  said freedom for Tompolo is freedom for the Ijaw nation and the entire Niger Delta region and democracy.

He explained that the wild jubilation which greeted the news of Tompolo’s freedom was a clear indication that he is loved by both his people and all lovers of peace and democracy across the globe.

The Philanthropist  noted that Tompolo fought for the opressed people of the Niger Delta with every means available because of his believe that the region which lay the golden eggs deserves a better life and fair treatment.

“A man who stood for peace, Justice and equity, speaking the truth in all circumstances not minding who’s Ox is goard  .” He added.

He prayed God to Grant him greater wisdom and understanding to continue in his leadership of the region for more political, social and economic development of the people

While commending the Judiciary for doing the right thing, he said  it has really proved itself as the last hope of the common man and advised them to sustain the courage in giving Justice without any fear of contradiction.

Recall that Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Lagos division of the Federal high court on Wednesday set aside all 40 count charges brought before it by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Tompolo and others for lack of merit
