Burutu Local Government Youth Presidents Pays Condolence Visit To Agediga
Youth presidents in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have yesterday paid a condolence visit to His Excellency, Amb. Shedrack Agediga, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Conflict Resolution over the demise of his cousin sister.
The youths had enjoined Agediga who is the overlord of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF, a Non Governmental Organization he has been using in transforming lives across Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Amb. Dere Podoki, youth president of Odimodi and its federated communities had also lauded Agediga on his innitiatives to better the lots of the society.
According to the youth presidents, charity they said begins at home, hence the group had maintained that the global peace advocate had done more than enough to earn him more respect among the youths in Burutu Local Government Area and beyond.
They had particularly described Amb. Shedrack as a faultless politian cum humanitarian in the Niger Delta region.
They had noted further that the youth presidents in Burutu Local Government Area are happy with the rare leadership qualities of the SA, adding that Governor Okowa made a right choice by appointing Agediga into his admnistration.
The group had further maintained that elevating Agediga to a commissioner status in the state would make more sense and meaning to a progressive leadership, stressing that such elevation would make him perform more better in carrying the youths along with proper delivering of the dividends of democracy.
In their words: “As youths in Burutu Local Government Area, we are very pleased with the man Agediga and his constant touch with the youths and other critical stakeholders in the polity”.
In his swift reaction, SA Agediga had noted that although he is in a mood of mourning over the demise of his cousin sister who according to him until her painful death was very close and dear to him, noting that it gives him joy to always render assistance to the youths when they are up to something good.
Youth presidents in Ogulagha Kingdom, Odimodi, Burutu and others were present during the condolence visit in Warri.
