Burutu North APC Aspirants Reject Purported Primary, Say There Was  No Election

The duo of Prince Marvel Ebikeme and Prince Owei Bomienghan, All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants for Burutu North House of Assembly have rejected a purported primary that was said to have been conducted at Kiagbodo in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State yesterday. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

The duo noted that there was nothing like election that took place as there was no INEC representative, returning officer of the party nor election materials, stressing that how will any election take place in such condition without their presence. 

They particularly called on the leadership of APC in Delta State to make proper arrangements for the conduct of primary election in Burutu North. 

The duo alleged that 23 out of the 30 delegates for the primary have also stated that there was no election that took place for them to vote hence they will do all within their powers to prove that there was no election. 

Meanwhile, when Amb. Dr. Alapala Anthony was contacted, he said the election is over as he has won. 

He continued that the election was slated yesterday, himself and his fellow contestants where there for the election at Kiagbodo, stressing that it got to a point where the other aspirants left stressing that they can’t wait any longer. 

Odumalagba said as providence would have it, as  soon as they left, the election officials arrived hence the election was conducted which saw him emerging victorious, adding that it was the will of God for him to win.
