Burutu Political Octopus Asupa, Entourage Visit Binebai Family To Sympathise With Them

Member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, now known as the political octopus led other political leaders in the Local Government to pay condolence visit to the Binebai family over the demise of their late patriarch, Chief Tom Michael Binebai (JP) yesterday. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report. In his speech during the condolence visit, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta had recalled the moments he had with late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) back in Burutu while he was chairman of council. Asupa noted that he was Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State when late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) was made the pioneer commissioner of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission ( DESOPADEC ) to represent the Ijaw ethnic nationality.He asserted that he was part of it all, stressing that the nomination of Chief T. M Binebai also passed through his table as a council chairman then.Speaking further, the political octopus had also described late Chief Binebai as a rare gift from God to Ijaw nation, stressing that his knowledge, words of wisdom and experience will be missed. Asupa continued that while as a council chairman, he also cosulted Chief Binebai on certain critical decisions. However, the lawmaker had promised to contribute his quota for the burial of Chief T. M Binebai, adding that he should be contacted when the time for the burial approaches. High point of the visit was the signing of the condolence register and a brief stop over to have few words with Chief T. M Binebai’s two wives.

Responding on behalf of the Binebai family, Comr. Isaiah Ingo had appreciated Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta and his massive entourage for the visit, stressing that the family is grateful and would continue to owe him in high esteem. 

Mr. Ignatius Ziakegha, Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Niger Delta Affairs (Braced Commission) was fully on ground to receive Asupa and his massive entourage. 

Asupa was accompanied by Hon. Godknows Angele, Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Vice Chairman Combolous Ikisah, Rt. Hon. Spencer Takeme, leader of the Burutu legislative house, Hon. Sunny Perekeme, Secretary Burutu Local Government Council, SSA Koffi Amaduomo, Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze, immediate past leader of the House, honourable members of the Burutu legislative house, supervisory councillors, Comr. Mike Edoukumor, Political Adviser to Angele, Engr. Mike Akpi and others too numerous to mention.
