A grass root political pressure group in Tuomo-Ebe, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have vowed that they cannot continue to fold their hands to see the endless political subjugation meted out on them by others in the Burutu South Constituency. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

The group operating under the aegis of Tuomo-Ebe Political Front (TPF) have unanimously vowed that come 2023, it must be a Tuomo-Ebe Indigene that will be representing the Burutu South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, stressing that enough is enough.

However, as the party primaries for the 2023 General elections draw closer, Aspirants vying to occupy the Burutu constituency II seat at the Delta state House of Assembly have indicated their interests before their kinsmen under the auspices of Tuomo-ebe Political Front, otherwise called TPF.

The TPF which sprang up late last year with the aim of uniting Tuomo sons and daughters who ply their trade in politics, was convened by young political gladiators from Tuomo kingdom, harnessing the rich human resources it currently parade in the political circle in Delta State and Burutu LGA in particular.

The TPF currently headed by Hon. Chief Clement Ogbu who also doubled as the Chairman Ijaw National  Congress (INC) Tuomo Clan, witnessed a huge turnout in it’s last stakeholders meeting, as three House of Assembly aspirants officially indicated their interests and solicited for the support of the political group.

Those who declared to contest under the platform of the PDP were RAZAK WILLIAMS AMATORU, a former Deputy President of Ijaw Youth Council, Chief PERES OLOYE, A member of Warri/Uvwie Development Agency, and Hon. ANGODIKEME OTUTU AGBOR, a former councillor representing Tamigbe and a stalwart of the party.

In his remark, Chairman of the front, Hon. Chief Clement Ogbu charged them to rally round delegates as the first stage is to get through the party primaries, which is solely decided by delegates. He prayed for them and wished them well in their endeavour.

Others who spoke at the meeting were Chief Elimina Namah, A member Governing Council, Dennis Osadebe University, Asaba, Delta State and Mr Arebebe Ongolo, former Vice Chairman, Burutu Local Government Council. They expressed confidence in the capacity of aspirants who indicated interest. They however advised that aspirants should spread their tentacles to sister clans and wards to ensure victory.
