Condolence Visit: I Will Participate Fully In Chief Binebai’s Funeral – Yingi

Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Environment and Marine Transportation, Chief (Hon) Daniel Oyumu Yingi has declared that he will be on ground to fully participate and contribute his quota for the burial of Late Chief T. M Binebai (JP). The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

Hon. Yingi, a former caretaker chairman of Burutu Local Government Area and immediate past Burutu North House of Assembly member gave declaration on Sunday 6th of February 2022 at late Chief T. M Binebai’s residence, Ughoton in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State during a condolence visit to the family. 

The Special Adviser noted that his connection with late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) was due to the fact that until his death he was his in-law, stressing that beside that he was a father to all that came in contact with him while he was alive. 

Yingi continued that he couldn’t have been comfortable wherever he is without coming to condole with the Binebai family, adding that Burutu Local Government, Delta State, Niger Delta and the entire Ijaw nation have lost a great hero. 

He particularly enjoined members of the Binebai family to take heart, stressing that it is God that giveth and also taketh.

Speaking further, Hon. Daniel Yingi asserted that late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) who was a pioneer commissioner in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC ) that represented the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality will be greatly missed in several ways, stating that a huge vacuum has been left behind. 

The Special Adviser to Governor Okowa on Environment and Marine Transportation was accompanied by Sir Kurugbe Paul, member representing Delta South (SUBEB), Mr. Godwin Edumogiren, SSA to Governor Okowa on community development, Delta State, Comr. Albert Edumugiren, SA to the Governor, Mr. Ozano, former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

Hon. Adidi Preboye, Special Assistant to His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State on political matters and other family members were heavily on ground to receive Hon. Yingi. High point of the visit was the signing of the condolence register by Hon. Daniel O. Yingi along with Sir  Godwin Edumogiren who also signed the condolence register.

Meanwhile, Comr. Isaiah Ingo while responding on behalf of the Binebai family appreciated Yingi and his team for the visit, stressing that the family is grateful and would continue to owe him in high esteem. 

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that late Chief T. M Binebai would be given a three days befiting burial at Burutu starting from April 2nd to 4th.
