Coronavirus: Olokpa Commends EGCDF Chairman, Ukori In Doling Out Foodstuffs For Egbema/Gbaramatu Communities – The Liberator

A youth leader in Oil rich Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local government Area of Delta State, Comr. John Olokpa has commended Amb. Comr. Jude Ukori, Chairman and other members of the Egbema/Gbaramatu Community Development Foundation (EGCDF) in doling out foodstuffs for communities constituting Gbaramatu and Egbema Kingdoms in Delta State.

The Egbema Youth leader, Comr. John Olokpa made the commendation earlier today via a statement issued to newsmen in Sapele, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

It would be recalled that Amb. Comr. Jude Ebitimi Ukori and the principal officers of the EGCDF met and agreed to dole out foodstuffs for communities constituting the two Kingdoms in Warri South West and Warri North Local government Areas of Delta State to cushion the effect of the 14 days lockdown in the state occasioned by the global pandemic called Covid-19, popularly known as Coronavirus.

The foodstuffs according to John Olokpa consists mainly of giant bags of garri and kegs of red oils which were equitably and massively distributed to the said communities in Delta State

, a gesture the people have hailed as rare and welcome development.

Comr. Olokpa maintained that it only takes a leader with foresight to have driven a process of alleviating the sufferings of his people during a critical time like this, describing him as a man with a Godly and benevolent heart.
While extolling the administration of Amb. Ukori, the youth leader noted that the current tenure of the EGCDF under the able leadership of Ebitimi had dealt massively with the infrastructural needs of the people.
He maintained that the administration of Amb. Jude stands out among his equals, stressing that it has executed projects inherited from previous administrations to completion.
John also lauded Ukori for rebranding and 9 expanding of the foundation’s secretariat with more buildings, conference hall and offices for efficient service delivery among staffs, adding that the Egbema Kingdom renowned leader is leaving behind legacies that would be difficult to surpass by other administrations.
Meanwhile, like Oliver twist, Olopka had called on Amb. Jude to join other stakeholders in Egbema Kingdom as a person to provide hand gloves, hand sanitizers, face masks, liquid soaps and other preventive materials to his hometown, Opuama community in Egbema Kingdom to encourage the people along this regard to raise more awareness on the curtailment of Covid-19.
