COVID-19: Delta Ijaw Comrade Community Applauds Agediga For His Kind Gestures – The Liberator

The Leadership of Delta Ijaw Comrade community have applauded the Executive Director Research, Planning and Statistics, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC, Comr. Shedrack Agediga for supporting the body with cash to cushion the effect of the lockdown in Delta.
The body gave the applauds through a released signed and issued by it’s interim committee President Comr. Austine Ozobo, a copy of which was made available to The Liberator Newspaper on Monday.
Ozobo noted that the support has indeed helped to alleviate the pains of the people at this difficult time ochestrated by the Coronavirus epidemic and subsequent lockdown in Delta and Nigeria.
While appreciating the DESOPAEEC ED, Ozobo said ”We also wish to use this opportunity to thank him for reaching out to the People in the creek and for still being part of the coalition of Burutu political leaders that provided succor to the people’s of Burutu Local Government Area.
”It is our sincere prayer that God almighty will replenish you and reward you with unprecedented growth in all directions.” He added.
The ineterin President also said he aappreciates “all the Delta Ijaw political office holders and Business men who had contributed their quotas to cushion the effect of the hardship brought by the COVID-19 lockdown on our people.”
“We in the same vein use this medium to appeal to the conscience of Ijaw Patriots who are capable of supporting our people in any way, to join the train of support, to ensure that our people are given much sense of belonging which could quantify the much support they gave to political and business leaders.
“May God bless you all as you continue to show compassion towards our People.” He prayed
