Covid-19: Guwor Sympathise With Delta First Family, Ebie, Aniagwu, Others, Wish Them Quick  Recovery – The Liberator

The member representing Warri South West constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Guwor Emomotimi Dennis, has sympathised with the Delta State first family, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,  his wife, the secretary to state government Mr Chiedu Ebie and the commissioner for information Charles Aniagwu wishing them quick recovery.

Guwor disclosed that “these senior government officials contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) while working on the frontline of the battle to ensure a healthier and safer delta amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic.”

In a Facebook  message to the affected  government officials, He wrote “In these trying times our hearts and prayers are with the first team; His Excellency Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Governor of Delta State (@IAOkowa), Dame Edith Okowa, Wife of the Governor of Delta State, Mr. Chiedu Ebie (@chieduebieesq), Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG) and Mr. Charles Aniagwu, Delta State Commissioner for Information (@DeltaState_Ng)

The lawmaker noted that “the level of sacrifice and commitment exhibited by the entire Delta safe force, most especially the first family and the story of one of the daughters of the Governor in the face of the obvious consequence of exposure is most humbling and commendable providing much inspiration for the stronger Delta agenda in action. We are most thankful.”

While wishing them a quick recovery he said “On behalf of the good people of Warri South West Constituency, we wish the Governor, his family and entire delta safe team quick recovery.

“To every Deltan, please keep safe. Coronavirus is real, prioritize the health of your family and community, maintain social distancing, use your nose mask and hand sanitizers regularly, adhere to all regulatory measures.” He adviced

He said he is very optimistic that soon the world will overcome the current challenge and urged Deltans to continue to engage, create awareness and support the stop of the spread of Coronavirus.
