Death Of Mama Poun-Ere: Sympathizers Continue To Storm Oweilaemi’s Residence In Warri

Following the demise of Mrs Poun-ere Kerema Pereotubo ( nee Ekeinga), mother of former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Barr. Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi yesterday, sympathisers have continued to storm the residence of Oweilaemi to condole with him and the entire family. 

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that the canopy dropping ceremony will be taking place on Tuesday 12th of April 2022 at the residence of the former President of Council worldwide. 

It would be recalled that mama Poun-ere Kerema Pereotubo ( nee Ekeinga) died at the age of 84 years in Warri. 

I will forever miss my mother – Oweilaemi 

However, in his reaction to our reporter, Oweilaemi asserted that he will forever miss his mother, Mrs Poun-ere Kerema Pereotubo ( nee Ekeinga), adding that she has been living with him for over a decade. 

He described his mother as a  precious gift in his life, adding that she was so caring, lovely and full of life.

Topping the list of sympathisers yesterday, Amb. Dr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Godknows Angele, Chairman, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State and several notable personalities stormed the residence of Oweilaemi in Warri to sympathise with him and have also signed the condolence register. 

Comr. Isaiah Ingo was present yesterday as he signed the condolence register on behalf of the justification movement.

Nevertheless, visitation continues today 10th of April 2022 as more dignitaries turned out in their numbers to condole with the former President of Council worldwide. 

Some of the dignitaries that showed up today include Dr. Comr. Doubra Collins Okotete, Chairman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Western Zone, Comr. Kennedy Olorogun, former Chairman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, Publisher/Editor-In Chief of The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide, Dr. Tam Odogu  had also signed the condolence register. 

As at the moment, more personalities are still storming the residence of Oweilaemi with several women and youth groups.Hon. Amafini Akemotubo, Sir Elaye Azosibe, Jude Angodideke just arrived Oweilaemi’s residence in Warri.

His political friends are registering a massive turn out.
