A youth leader in oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom, Comr. Roland Pere-Ebi Dede, member Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee has stated that self styled Gen Freedom Binaebi Adowei is a leader that has paid his dues in the Niger Delta liberation struggle. The Liberator Newspapers can report.

Comr. Dede  made the assertion today in Warri while celebrating the birth anniversary of Gen. Freedom Adowei, a man he described as a blessing to humanity and the Ijaw nation in particular.

Speaking further, Comr. Roland Pere-Ebi Dede had particularly prayed to the Lord Almighty and the Ijaw traditional deities to continue to protect and prosper Gen. Adowei beyond human comprehension.

In his words: ” As today marks the birth anniversary of a Niger Delta titan who hails from oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom, with all the various constituencies I represents, I wish you a blissful happy birthday celebration.

“You are indeed one of the wonders God has created for humanity, I am always proud of you for always defending the oppressed in our society, I can also attest to the many struggles you have being through just to make Niger Deltans have a sense of belonging in the Nigerian state.

“It is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall envelop you with more wealth so that you can do more for the downtrodden people, I personally appreciate you for the good things that you have been doing for Ijaw nation. I cannot in any way keep quiet on your birth anniversary.”

For his selflessness in the Niger Delta struggle, Comr. Roland Pere-Ebi Dede had noted that men like Adowei are very few in the Niger Delta region, expressing optimism that he is hopeful that better days are here for Adowei.

As a philanthropist, Comr. Dede in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown in Delta State became one of the first to ever donate his full salary for the upkeep of the elderly in Sokebolou/Yokiri communities in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
