Dekawei Mourns Late Prophet Maware, Bids Him Farewell As He Journey’s Home

Renowned Niger Delta philanthropist,  Amb. John Dekawei has mourned over the excruciating demise of prophet Haggai Maware, minister-in-charge of the Bibopre Zion Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Okerenkoko, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta. 

While bidding him farewell, Amb. John Dekawei described the death as excruciating and a monumental loss to the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom, the entire Ijaw nation and the Cerubim and Seraphim Church at large. 

It would be recalled that the late chieftain of Cerubim & Seraphin church Worldwide, prophet Haggai Maware was a close family relation to Amb. John Dekawei, a situation that made the young philanthropist mobilised friends and family to Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom to pay his last respect as Ijaw nation converge in his community to lay him to eternal rest. 

However, Late Prophet Haggai Maware’s burial rites were performed  in Okerenkoko on Friday 14th of August 2020 with different branches of Cerubim and Seraphim Church across Ijaw nation that filed out to give their last honour to one of their spiritual leader, he was committed to mother earth at the wee hours of Saturday 15th 2020.

Dekawei particularly stated that  the news of prophet Haggai’ s  demise came to him as a rude shock before the subsequent funeral arrangements. 

The business tycoon noted that the vacuum left by prophet Maware would be very difficult to fill, stressing that he was a pure, kind and generous leader who has contributed spiritually for the continued growth and development of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the Ijaw nation at large. 

However, while describing the demise of late Prophet Haggai Maware as a big blow, Philanthropist John  said Gbaramatu have lost a rare gem, stressing that they will forever miss him.

He had also prayed for the immediate family of prophet Haggai to take heart in order to bear the huge and monumental loss. 

Amb. John Dekawei is President general of the revered Niger Delta Socio Cultural group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), raising the banner of good governance in Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. 

Meanwhile, It would be recalled that Amb. John Dekawei is the founder and chairman of the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) he has used in transforming the lives of many across the World.
