Former Chairman  of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gbaramatu Ward in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Amb. Dcn Ernest Bebenimibo has appealed to the People of Delta North to see reasons to support His Excellency, Dcn (Barr) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State in his bid to become the next Governor of the state come 2023.

Amb. Dcn Bebenimibo Ernest made the appeal earlier today via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

According to him, the appeal have become necessary owing to the fact that the Ijaws played a critical role in ensuring that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State who is from Delta North emerged Governor of the state, adding that Tompolo and other Ijaw sons played a major role in the birth of Okowa as Governor of the state.

However, Ernest Bebenimibo who was a former Chairman of PDP Gbaramatu Ward, Warri South West Local Government Area, is also a former Publicity Secretary of PDP Warti South West Local Government Area and a chieftain of the party in the Local Government at large.

Nevertheless, Bebenimibo Ernest is a United Nations Peace Ambassador and also Chairman and founder of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) he has used in transforming the lives of many across the Niger Delta region.

The young humanitarian asserted that the Ijaws have suffered and contributed a lot in producing Governors of the state from other tribes, stressing that it will not be out of place for others to support the Ijaws too this time around come 2023.

Bebenimibo said Otuaro is competent and have all the leadership credentials to move Delta State forward as Governor if elected, stressing that he remains the only antidote for a better and progressive Delta State come 2023.

Speaking further, the United Nations Peace Ambassador had called on all sons and daughters of Ijaw nation, Delta North as well as people with conscience from Delta South and other tribes in the state to see reasons to support the Ijaw agenda.
