Delta 2023: Jubilation As Otuaro Opens Governorship Campaign Office
I had a breakout session with the press, where i answered few of their questions and highlighted the following:
1. The central message of the KBO Build BETTER for Delta campaign is my plan for an industrialized Delta. It emphasizes my commitment to unlock the industrial potentials of Delta and create boundless opportunities for all. And also to champion the principle of common good establishing leadership that devoid of ethnic sentiments, especially in a multi-ethnic society like ours. It is Delta for everybody and realizing the Delta of our dreams.
2. The commendable progress which some refer to in some quarters as ‘phenomenal transformation’ we have made as a State in the last six years is a reflection of the great exemplary, noteworthy and much talked about working relationship I have with my Boss and Principal, the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa. I hold the Governor in the highest esteem and I have formally informed him of my intentions and I continue to do so in all my decisions and consultations across the State. He gave me his blessings.
3. I cannot thank Deltans, members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ward leaders, party chairmen, elders, KBO supporters, and volunteers enough for the massive support since the commencement of our consultations visit across the State of which we have covered 23 local governments. In all the 23 local government areas that we visited, it is obvious that the people want to Decide forward for Delta.
Once again, I want to appreciate all KBO supporters, the clergy, women groups, youth, the press, and everyone for their support, prayers and using their skills and talents for the KBO project from inception to date.
As we walk to round up the first phase of our local government consultations, I will be updating you with my plans for an industrialized Delta. I have great hopes the greatness of Delta shall be realized.
