Delta @28: Forteta hails Okowa, assures Burutu North constituents of delivering

As Delta state marks the 28th year of its creation, the member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta has commended His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State on his leadership, stressing that the state is truly waxing stronger and more united than ever.

Hon. Forteta made the remark recently in Asaba while playing host to some of his Burutu North constituents that had visited him.

While hailing the Governor of the state, Forteta had assured the people of Burutu North of his readiness to deliver as member representing them in the Delta State House of Assembly.

He had noted that he will not betray the interest of his people, adding that the many developmental challenges bedeviling the area will be voiced in the house, assuring that practical steps will be taken to address the challenges faced by the people.

The lawmaker maintained that he will never disappoint his people as he is familiar with the issues faced by his people.

In his words: “I am not a new face in governance, as a former chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, I delivered, as a commissioner for youth and sports development Delta State, I delivered, as a commissioner for Urban Renewal, Delta State, I also delivered, I have been delivering all my life, I will even deliver more to my people now that I am only representing Burutu North”.

Forteta had charged the people of Burutu North of better days.
