Delta Ijaw Comrade Community Congratulates Western Zone IYC Leadership Elect
The leadership of Delta Ijaw Comrade Community has congratulated all those that emerged victorious from the just concluded Ijaw Youth Council Western Zone Election at Igbekebor in Apoi Clan, Ondo State.
This was contained in a congratulatory message personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today by the group’s president, Amb. Comr. Binebai Yerin Princewill, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
The statement while congratulating all the winners had also appreciated the Comr. Graham led electoral committee for conducting a peaceful, free, fair and credible election, stressing that DICC is proud of him.
However, DICC under the leadership of Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill had stated that the emergence of Dr. Doubra Collins Okotete as Chairman elect, IYC Western Zone is divine and timely, stressing that they have no doubt that Okotete and his team will work hard to progressively deal with the multifaceted issues bedeviling the Ijaws of Delta, Edo and Ondo states.
Nevertheless, Princewill had hailed all the Ijaw youths that contested in the various positions but could not win, he described them as strong people, stressing that he respects them for their peaceful conducts during and after the election, saying that it is a win win situation.
The DICC President maintained that the Ijaw nation needs everyone to contribute his or her quota towards the growth and development of the ethnic nationality, stressing that true love, unity and purposeful leadership should be the practice.
The revered Ijaw group had charged the newly elected Western Zone IYC Leadership under the command of Dr. Okotete to carry everyone along after inauguration.
DICC had wished Dr. Okotete and his exco a productive tenure, in their words “We wish you and your entire exco a fruitful tenure, congratulations once again as we have no doubt about your ability to deliver positively “
Meanwhile, DICC had noted that they are ready to partner with the IYC in the Zone for the progress of Ijaw nation whenever the need arises.
