Delta Ijaw Comrade Community To Honour Agediga December 21st

Comrades under the aegis of Delta State Ijaw Comrade Community have concluded plans to honour Amb. Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC for affecting lives positively using his hard earned personal resources over the years.
Giving a breakdown of the event, according to an information obtained by The Liberator Newspaper, the comrades noted that there is going to be a one day Symposium with the theme “Transparency, Social Inclusion and mentorship as fundamentals of good leadership: The Shedrack Agediga Example.”

The comrades further noted that His Excellency, Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, deputy Governor of Delta State will be special guest of honour while Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal constituency, house of representatives will be chairman of the day.

However, World renowned environmental activist, Amb. Comr. Sheriff Mulade will be the guest speaker of the epoch making event just as His Royal Majesty, King Elder Capt. Joseph Timiyan JP, the Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State will be the royal father of the day.

Others expected to grace the occasion include Hon. Bashorun Askia Ogieh (MD DESOPADEC), Commisioner for youth development, Commisioner for information, Commisioner for oil and gas, all Ijaw house of assembly members as well as all ethnic group commissioners.

Nevertheless, the event which will be taking place on the 21st of December 2019 is venued at the Education Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited Hall, Emebiren, off Deco Road, Warri in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State by 12pm prompt.

Meanwhile, it would be recalled that this is the first time Comrades from the Ijaw extraction in Delta State will be coming together to honour someone in such manner.

According to a source who hinted The Liberator Newspaper with a condition of anonymity stated that the comrades will present a leadership award to Amb. Agediga and a portrate of him as a mark of his selfless and exemplary leadership.

The organisers have noted that the event is strictly by invitation as it is not an open one.

Members of the central working committee stated that they are giving a finishing touch to all arrangements to make the day a success, adding that there is going to be lots of fun and merriment.
