Delta Ijaw Comrades Condoles With Mulade Over Mother’s Demise, Urges Him To Be Strong

A high powered delegation of the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community (DICC), led by its president general, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, former presidents of the group, members of the national executive as well as others on Friday paid a condolence visit to Chief Amb. Sheriff Mulade, a Delta 2023 Governorship aspirant over the demise of his lovely mother Madam Ebikeseiye Timiyan Mulade. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

During the visit, the duo of Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, President general of DICC and Prince Comr. Austin Ozobo, pioneer president of the group and current SA to the Governor of Delta State on political matters had all described the untimely demise of Chief Mulade’s mother as unfortunate. 

While noting that mothers are special, they urged the seasoned environmental activist to be strong and take heart, adding that God giveth and he also taketh. 

DICC noted that they received the news of mama’s death with great disbelief, stressing that she was still so young, full of life and leaving at a time she is needed most. 

The duo had prayed to the Lord Almighty for untimely death never to come near the Mulade’s family and others as well, adding that untimely death is never a good thing. 

The Ijaw Comrades noted that they couldn’t have kept quiet upon hearing the news of mama’s death, adding that the Comrade Community was greatly disturbed owing to the fact that Chief Mulade is their leader in the comrade struggle hence the group had to send the powerful delegation. 

The DICC had also vowed to stand by Chief Mulade, stressing that they are with him and will gladly render any service whenever their services are needed. 

In his swift reaction, Mulade had appreciated the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community (DICC) for identifying with him on the demise of his mother, maintaining that though it is painful for his mother to have left him but he can’t question God. 

He particularly assured the DICC leadership that the group will be informed whenever the burial date is fixed. 

Meanwhile,  the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community delegation include Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, President general, Prince Comr, Austin Ozobo, former president DICC, Comr. Williams Welemu Jnr, former president DICC, Comr. Basil Ujobolo, Vice president DICC, Comr. Tare Magbei, Assistant Secretary DICC, Comr. Ebolo Samuel, Chairman of all chairmen, IYC Western Zone, Comr. John Gbozimor, Chairman DICC constitution drafting committee, Comr. Lucky Otutufegha  as well as Comr. Timi Black.
