Delta LGA Elections: Jite Casts Vote In Udu, Sure Of Victory, Hails DSIEC

The immediate past Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council cum the Udu PDP Chairmanship Flagbearer Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP) has expressed confidence that he will emerge victorious in the Chairmanship polls held today (06/03/21).

Hon. Chief Jite while speaking with news men shortly after casting his votes at Unit 2 DSIEC ward 18 Oviri Quarter Aladja in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State at exactly 8.40 am, stated that, “by the grace of God, I will emerge victorious; I have partnered with Udu people, I have worked with them, and by God’s grace, a lot of them will vote for me in order for me to consolidate on my previous achievements”

He enjoined every udu sons and daughters to come out enmass and cast their votes for all the 20 Udu Councillors and the Chairmanship Candidate of the PDP.

He continued, “so far, the electoral process is peaceful, and we pray to God that it remains peaceful; people are coming out in their large numbers to cast their votes, a lot of votes have been cast already despite the fact that it is still very early in the day; we hope that the voting process remains peaceful across the state.”

On his assessment of the elections, Hon. Jite said, “I believe that the Delta State Independent electoral Commission (DSIEC) has done well, everything appears to be working well as voting commenced on time across Udu Local Government.

Those spoken to at the election venue, disclosed that voting commenced before 8:30am.
