Delta PDP Primaries: Tomone Congratulate Sheriff, Pondi, Asupa, Others On Victories
Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ward 11, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Amb. (Dr). Apst. Godspower Tomone, popularly known as Godspenal International has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on his emergence as the Delta State Governorship PDP standard flag bearer.
The philanthropist cum politician also congratulated Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives and Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, member representing Burutu North, Delta State House of Assembly for their victories during the PDP primaries for House of representatives in Burutu and the Burutu North.
Amb. Godspower Tomone who was recently adopted and recommended to become the next Burutu Local Government Council Chairman come 2024 by the Tobu-Okun Political Forum (TPF) in Burutu Local Government Area issued the congratulatory message to newsmen via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide at the wee hours of today.
Amb. Tomone described the emergence of Sheriff as the PDP Governorship flag bearer, Hon. Julius Pondi as flag bearer for Burutu Federal Constituency, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta for Burutu North and others as the will of God.
However, the global peace advocate had called on all those that contested the various positions in Delta State via PDP to see the election as the will of God, stressing that PDP should put its house together in order to face the 2023 general elections.
Nevertheless, Tomone had promised to work within his ambit and other leaders of the party in ward 11, particularly oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State to deliver PDP as usual in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
It would be recalled that Tomone is a critical stakeholder of the ward 11 PDP in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State who has contributed his hard earned personal resources in ensuring the victory of PDP during general elections.
He has also served the party in different capacities via electioneering committees and otherwise.
Speaking further, Chief Godspower has lauded His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State and the leadership of PDP in Delta State for the peaceful, free, fair and credible PDP primaries, stressing that come 2023, the PDP will continue to stamp its dominance in Delta State.
