DESOPADEC: Agediga meets PRS department workers, vows to change narrative

The Executive Director, ED, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC on Planning, Research and Statistics, PRS, Amb. Shedrack Agediga has held his inaugural meeting with various sections of the department to usher in unprecedented progress in the commision.

Amb. Agediga who presided over the inaugural meeting earlier today in Warri at the Peemos Hotel, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State had vowed to change the narrative in the commission from his department.
The Executive Director had however called for a synergy among workers in the department, stressing that the department under his watch will key into innovations that will drive progress to the commision.

In his remark during the meeting, Agediga had tasked workers in the department to be more serious with their job, noting that late coming will not be tolerated under him.

He had particularly charged the workers to put in their best while describing the PRS department to be the thinking faculty of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.

In his words: “Punitive actions will be meted out on those that will want to imbibe the harbit of late coming”.
Rolling out his rules, Agediga had maintained that workers under his department will in due time be trained to enhance maximum productivity.

The well attended meeting has in attendance the Head of Department, PRS, various head of the sections and as well as workers in the various units like Planning, Research and Statistics.

In their response to the ED, the workers were united in their voice to put in their best for the unprecedented progress of the department as they highlighted some challenges bedeviling the department in terms of funding.

Meanwhile, Agediga had promised to be interacting with workers of the department on a regular basis, adding that the next meeting will hold on October 2019.
On his entourage include Engr. Felix Braboke, PA to the honourable ED, PRS DESOPADEC, Comr. Williams A. Welemu Jr among others.
