An Ijaw interest group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Comrade Community (DICC) have celebrated her patron, High Chief Wellington Bobo, the Iroupawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom on his birth anniversary. 

This was contained in a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today by President general of the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community (DICC), Amb. Comr. Binebai Yerin Princewill, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

According to him, the group will continue to owe in high esteem her patron, Chief Wellington Bobo for his selfless sacrifices rendered to the Ijaw people over the years. 
Binebai asserted that DICC is proud of him as their patron, adding that a moment with him is always full of positive lessons about Ijaw nation and the need to move forward as a people. 

The group had in the statement maintained that finding Chief Bobo as their patron is one of the greatest things that has happened to the Comrade Community in Delta State as he continue to embrace them as his children through support of different kinds, stressing that they will work hard to make him proud. 

Speaking further, Amb. Princewill had called on Ijaw leaders and those in position of political offices to empower someone like Chief Bobo, adding that he has selflessly sacrificed a lot towards the growth and development of Ijaw nation, stating that it is now time for him to benefit from the struggle with his wealth of experience. 

However, DICC had prayed for sound health,  long life and prosperity for her patron, noting that celebration shall never depart from his household.
