Doris marks birth anniversary in orphanage home, calls for eradication of poverty, hunger

NIGER Delta girl child education advocate, Ms. Doris Izoukumor had disclosed that the biggest threat to humanity’s existence, is lack of love and hope.

Calling on stakeholders to take palliative measures in exerting practical solutions to achieve the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.

“We must take holistic approach to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger;
to achieve universal primary education and to promote gender equality by empowering women in our society,” she said.

Doris Izoukumor however advised the orphanages to imbibe in the virtues of love, patience and sacrifice.

“You all have the potential to be great men and women in society, this could only be achieved when you fear God, and show commitment and dedication to your education,”

“The road to success is under construction and everyone can get there irrespective of our present circumstances,” Doris Izoukumor stated.
