Education: SAF Jamb Forms Hits 100 As Beneficiaries Heaps Praises On Agediga – The Liberator

Poised to contribute its quota for the advancement of education in the Niger Delta region, a leading Non Governmental Organisation, the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF has increased the number of free Jamb forms to 100 candidates.

The Shedrack Agediga Foundation had recently published a list of 79 candidates that the organization would be providing free Jamb forms that will be writing the forthcoming Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination at the Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT Center, Ogulagha in Ogulagha Kingdom Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Addressing the press during the registration exercise, Pst. Seimode I. Lakemfa, Director of Programmes, Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF stated that the number of candidates have been increased to 100, stressing that it is so in order to accommodate others from benefiting from the gesture.

Speaking on the criteria with which the candidates where selected, Pst. Seimode yesterday (Thursday) noted that they where chosen from all communities constituting Ogulagha Kingdom.

Seimode also lauded Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal constituency, House of Representatives for influencing the first ever JAMB center to riverine community known as the Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT Center, Ogulagha in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Pst. Lakemfa revealed that chairman of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF, His Excellency, Amb. Shedrack Agediga is highly bothered on how to contribute and give back to society.

In his words: “Shedrack Agediga is empowering youths by way of providing free JAMB forms, this is our way of empowering the youths, it is a way of giving back to society

.

“We are promoting education, the empowerment cuts across all communities constituting the kingdom. Number of students have increased to 100. Principally, we are known for peace, we advocate, educate and preaches peace across the country.
“We venture into other areas to support the needy. We have plans to see as much as possible to ensure that we render financial assistance to students who may have scored well. We will definitely assist if there are financial hiccups.

“For the facilitator of the center, we can’t thank him enough, Hon. Julius Pondi, life is truly meaningful when you give back to society, this is the first ever JAMB center since the history of Delta State that has been influenced to the riverine part of the state and that is why SAF is doing all all these to encourage the center. “

Agediga gets accolades from NAOCS, JAMB candidates

On his part, President National Association of Ogulagha Clan Students, NAOCS Comr. Clever Igere lauded the gesture of Amb. Shedrack Agediga for providing the free Jamb forms for candidates, stressing that it will no doubt ease the financial burden of the candidates and their parents.
“As the umbrella students body covering all students in Ogulagha Kingdom, we are so happy to experience this kind gesture of SAF, it has really helped in relieving some of our parents from the financial burden, we will continue to pray for Agediga to succeed.

“Some have sat at home for more than four years without going to school owing to financial challenges. Most of them are so intelligent. I know that our students are very brilliant and I have no doubt in me that they will make us proud, I know that they will not disappoint us.
“Very importantly, i want to appreciate Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal constituency, House of Representatives for bringing the Jamb Center to Ogulagha Kingdom, I know that it was not easy for him to have influenced it. The Lord Almighty will continue to grant him his heart desires.
“I will appreciate if others in our kingdom can collectively fight for the materialization of a university or a polytechnic, we are also appealing for youth empowerment programmes.
“We are proud to have the likes of Agediga and Pondi as indigenes of Ogulagha Kingdom, if we have more of such persons, we will move forward as a kingdom. God will continue to bless them.” NAOCS President Igere stated.
Candidates appreciates Agediga, prays for him

“We did no pay anything, both our transportation is taken care of by SAY. This forum has brought a lot of us back home, both the registration and everything is free. We are so happy. This has reduced a lot of financial burden on our parents . May God bless him for us, we will continue to pray for him and as well take advantage of this oppurnity and make judicious use of it” Tamaraubrakemi Ayibakro, a beneficial candidate stated.

“I am really appreciating the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF, if we are to register by ourselves, it would have been quite expensive, he has made everything easy for us.
“My expectations are high, I believe in this foundation, I am expecting a great result, psychology will be my course of study if I am able to make it” Podoki Tracy, from Ogulagha community in Ogulagha Kingdom stated.

“I am so happy that things are going well, if it where to be in Warri, it would have been so stressful, i intends to study economics. This gesture from SAF has wiped away the tears of so many of us.
“We are going to make him proud by coming out with flying colours”. Orlando Perez Blessing, representing Sokebolou community in oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom asserted.
