Elections: Agediga charges Deltans to protect their votes against rigging, hired aggressors

A renowned World Peace Ambassador, Shedrack Agediga, Chairman of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, SAF and Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Conflict Resolution has charged communities in Delta State to protect their votes against any form of rigging and intimidation from hired aggressors.

Amb. Agediga made the call yesterday in Ogulagha community, headquarters of Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State while addressing supporters of The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in his unit to unit campaign.

The SA had particularly enjoined Deltans, particularly the riverine Ijaw communities in Burutu Local Government Area in Delta State to massively reciprocate the various developmental strides of Okowa by voting for him and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Governorship and state house of assembly elections in the state.

Agediga, recipient of many international peace awards had further described Governor Okowa as a man of development, stressing that a vote for him is a vote for continuous development across Delta State.

The global peace advocate had maintained that it will be difficult for Deltans to get a governor like Okowa owing to his developmental strides across the state.

He had however, enjoined Deltans to maintain peace as they go out in their numbers to vote for the PDP candidates on Saturday 9th 2019.
