Elections: Amb. Etimigba congratulates Okowa, Manager, Pondi, Asupa, Pullah, others on victories

A World Peace Ambassador, Chief Evans Egbesekumor Etimigba JP, CHMC, Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, the Fungewei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy, Deacon (Barr) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on their overwhelming victory recorded during the Governorship polls in the state.

Amb. Etimigba had described the victory of Governor Okowa as well deserving and a reward of hard work, stressing that the developmental strides of the governor across the state within his first tenure is overwhelming.

He had noted that, the governor and his deputy will continue to spread the dividends of democracy to all nook and crannies of the state.

However, Amb. Etimigba had also congratulated distinguished Senator James Manager, Senator-elect, Delta South Senatorial district; Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi,  member-elect, Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives; Hon. Asupa Forteta, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu constituency I and Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu Constituency II on their victories.

The global peace apostle had further congratulated all members elect under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP across Delta State and beyond for their victories at the 2019 general elections.

Chief Evatimi made the call yesterday in Warri, via a statement issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

Meanwhile, while hailing governor Okowa and representatives elect in Burutu, the Chartered Mediator and Conciliator had urged the leaders to continue to prioritize the development of Ijaw riverine communities in the state.

It would be recalled that prior to the 2019 general elections, Evans had endorsed all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP with a vow to spend his personal resources to make them win in his political domain.

The Liberator can report that the revered Chief in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State hails from Ofougbene and Odimodi communities in ward 11. He is a staunch member of the ward 11 PDP caucus. 

True to his earlier vow, he had worked closely with others in delivering total votes for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in all units in Ofougbene, his primary domain.
