Elections: Amb. Francis takes Okowa, PDP campaigns to Burutu creeks in Delta

Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Delta State, Amb. (Chief) Francis Bomiebi has taken the gospel of Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and other candidates of the party for the Delta State House of Assembly elections to the creeks of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Amb. Francis, a former vice chairman of PDP in Burutu Local Government Area, a leader in ward 11 politics, Delta State had embarked on the political journey days ago, spending his resources to ensure the victory of his boss Okowa and other candidates of the PDP in Burutu Local Government Area  come Saturday’s elections.

The SSA had described the Delta State Governor as a man that has development running in his DNA, adding that a completely new and better Delta State is emerging through the developmental strides of Okowa and his deputy.

He had particularly tasked the entire people of Burutu Local Government Area and that of Delta State to vote for Okowa and other candidates of the party come Saturday, adding that the Governor represents a roadmap of a better tomorrow for Deltans.

Chief Francis had further stated that there is need to vote for the Okowa/Otuaro ticket for the purpose of equity and continuity of life transforming projects across the State.

The SSA during the weekend in the creeks have assured the people  of more dividends of democracy, while soliciting support for the People’s Democratic Party PDP and pleaded to the people  particularly the Ijaws to once again keep faith with the Okowa led Delta State Government, having seen his good Intentions and developmental plans for Deltans.

Bomiebi while thanking the people for voting massively for the People’s Democratic Party during the Presidential and National Assembly elections held on the 23rd of February 2019, had charged the people  to triple same come March 9th.

He had also tasked the electorate to vote peacefully and  ensure that their votes are counted and collated before leaving their various polling units.

The recipient of UN – POLAC World Peace Ambassador award had insisted that the PDP will not relent until Okowa’s victory is sure on march 9th 2019. 

In his words; “We must embrace Okowa, vote massively for him to solidify what he has started and  finish strong the good works of peace, security, infrastructural development, empowerment programmes across the state.”
