Enough Is Enough, Tompolo Is Not The Only Pipeline Contractor, Dekawei Warn Traducers
President general of the Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), Amb. John Dekawei have warned traducers of Tompolo to keep clear.
While stressing that enough is enough, Dekawei stated that High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo is not the only pipeline security surveillance contractor in Niger Delta.
The President general of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), Amb. John Dekawei made the remark yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide in Warri.
Dekawei stated that he finds it very funny and shameful to see that some persons will come to the media to write against Tompolo and calling for the revocation of his pipeline surveillance security contract.
According to him, Tompolo is not the only person with such contract in the region, adding that there are others that have even bigger part of the contract, stressing that he wonders why people will only beam their searchlight on Tompolo.
However, the President of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA) had maintained that considering the selfless contributions of Tompolo towards the growth and development of the Niger Delta region and his contribution to peace building Nigeria, Tompolo deserves something more than the said pipeline surveillance security contract.
The statement had called on the Federal government of Nigeria to completely ignore all those writing against Tompolo, describing them as unpatriotic and real enemies of the region.
Dekawei noted that the antecedents of Tompolo are there for anyone to verify, opining that he is yet to see the antecedents of all those opposing Tompolo on his contract.
“If you think you are qualified for the job, why don’t you bid for the job, the bidding process was thrown open, where were you people”? Dekawei asked.
