Etimigba Celebrates Kestin Pondi, MD KMPSL On Ogbanabou Marginal Field License

His Excellency, Amb. Chief Evans Etimigba (JP), FICMC, MBA, the Fungewei of Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has celebrated high Chief Kestin Pondi, the Managing Director (MD) of Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited on the award of Petroleum Prospecting License (PPL) for Ogbanabou Field (PPL 213) by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).

The Fungewei of Iduwini Kingdom issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

According to the revered Chief of Iduwini Kingdom, Etimigba had stated that the news of award of Petroleum Prospecting License to Chief Kestin Pondi’ s company is the greatest news for Niger Deltans in decades now, stressing that he has every reason to be happy and to celebrate a worthy brother and leader in the Niger Delta region. 

Chief Evans while commending Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi for obtaining the Oil Prospecting License to operate and handle the Ogbanabou Oil Field in Delta State had stated that Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited is no doubt the best choice of company to operate marginal fields in Nigeria, describing it as giving something to the real owner to manage it.

The global peace ambassador, Etimigba had stated that Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited will deliver fully and effectively on the Ogbanabou Marginal Field, stressing that the MD  was born and brought up in the terrain hence the Federal Government of Nigeria will no doubt feel the positive impact of Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited soon enough. 

Speaking further, Amb. Evans maintained that he is happy for so many reasons, adding that Kestin Pondi is no doubt a round peg in a round hole to suprintend over the Ogbanabou Marginal Field. 

Meanwhile, Etimigba had commended His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, minister of Petroleum for State, Chief Timipre Sylva and others in the petroleum industry that worked behind the scene to make it possible for a man in the struggle to be awarded an oil license.

In his words “This is surely one of the best news one have heard in recent times. Niger Deltans deserved to rejoice over this news. 

“On behalf of myself, family and all the constituencies that I represents, I want to congratulate you once again on this latest laudable achievement. It is my prayer that you shall be granted with the much needed wisdom to perform as usual  in this new task ahead “.
