Ex-agitator Muturu Tasks Dikio To Address Pressing Needs Of Amnesty Programme
This was made known in a press statement circulated to newsmen and copy sent to our correspondence which read this:
“I, Peace Amb. Kingsley Muturu, hereby call on the Amnesty Board to come out clean with leaders of the Programme because we cannot take this humiliation any longer.
If this programme is really serving its supposed purpose, we need to know why certain things are happening. I stand on the fore to call on the Amnesty Board to have a live interactive session with leaders to address the numerous irregularities in the programme.
Personally, I need to know if this is a community programme, or a State programme, or a national programme, or a Niger Delta programme because I do not understand where things are headed.
The benefits of the programme as promised are gradually taking a different twist, thereby preventing the lot of our NIGER DELTA people from benefitting.
There is obviously an ulterior motive and I suggest we put an end to this frustration once and for all.
Therefore . I call on the Board to bare its plans on national TV let us discuss and reach an amicable conclusion. Enough is enough.
Endeavor to take action without wasting time as our phone numbers are always active”.
The Ex-agitator is not comfortable with the new policies introduced by the Amnesty coordinator and by this he calls for an adjustment and understanding among them.
He further frowned at the way and manner the Kiama training centre that was looted,no investigation till date, the Bomadi skill acquisition training centre still yet not completed he added
