The families of late Chief Samson Youkore Mamamu and the Ogbe-Ijoh traditional council have announced the burial date of the late legendary national Ijaw leader.  The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report. Chief Barrister S Smooth, Living Ijaw Music Legend


Circular for the announcement was signed by Chief Engr. William Akamu Mamamu,Hon. Engr. Faith Mamamu, High Chief Favour Izoukumor, High Chief Johnny Aribogha, Chief Engr. Samson Ikiotuwa Oyimi representing family, children, traditional council as well as the burial committee. Chief Kingsley Takemebo, The Mienkuro


According to the circular, burial activities of the late icon will begin on Monday 29th of November 2021 to end Sunday December 5th 2021 with various activities within the stipulated period of time. 

It would be recalled that Ijaw living music legend, Chief Barrister S. Smooth and Chief Kingsley Takemebo, alias the Mienkuro will all perform live during the burial.

It was learnt that the late legendary Ijaw leader died at the age of 91 (1930-2021) and was survived by 15 children, 31 grand children, 2 great grandchildren and uncountable relatives.

THE LEGEND: DR. YOUKERE MAMAMU RESTS IN THE LORD

With gratitude to God for a life well spent, the families of Dosumor Mamamu of Asangbaware and Imen of Ogbe-Ijoh and Etubo family of Azama (Gbaramatu Kingdom), both in Warri South-West L.G.A, the Seigbagha family of Obotobo II (Ogulagha Kingdom)  in Burutu L.G.A; The Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Traditional Council and God’s Ministry International Church, Salvation City in New Ogbe-Ijoh (N.O) of Delta State announce the demise of their beloved son, uncle, husband, father, grand father and great grand father.

He was aged 91 (1930-2021).

The founder of God’s Ministry International Church, late  Chief Evangelical Dr. Samson Youkore Mamamu (UNPA) JP, The Izon Torou-Ebediwei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom and former regent of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom is survived by 15 children, 31 grand children, 2 great grandchildren and uncountable relatives.

10am: Symposium in honor of Late  Chief Dr. Evang. Samson Mamamu (JP)
Venue: Warri club, by Navy Base in Warri

TUE. 30TH NOVEMBER, 2021
10am: Social wake keeping at Ogbe-Ijoh main town in Warri South-West L.G.A, Delta State.
Music to be supplied by: Chief Barr. S. Smooth and Chief Kingsley Takemebo. 
Other side attractions: Chief Tini-owei dance troop of Isaba and Wabu ladies of Ogbe-Ijoh.

WED. 1ST DECEMBER, 2021
3pm: Service of song at his Warri residence, No 3 Osititi street, off Edjemudaro road, by Cinema side, Okumagba layout, Warri South L.G.A, Delta State.

FRI. 3RD DECEMBER 2021
8am: Corps leaves Vennel hospital mortuary for a brief stop over at his Warri residence, No 3 Osititi street, off Edjemudaro road by Cinema side, Okumagba layout.
9am: Body leaves his Warri residence to Salvation City ( Idou-Tamara-ama ) New Ogbe-Ijoh, via, Miller waterside, NPA, Warri.
11am: Lying-in-state at God’s Ministry International Church, Salvation City (Idou-Tamara-ama) New Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West L.G.A Delta State.

SUN. 5TH DECEMBER, 2021
Thanksgiving service at God’s Ministry International Church, Salvation City (Idou-Tamara-ama), New Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West L.G.A Delta State.
