FG, Hosa Must Halt Further Dealings With Transforcados Trunkline Contractors Of OMS, Oborotu Youths Insist – The Liberator

The Oborotu Federated Youth Movement has reiterated call asking the Federal Government of Nigeria and Capt. Hosa Okunbor to halt further dealings with the contractors handling surveillance job projects within the Transforcados trunkline until all contending issues are resolved.
The group’s position was contained in a release signed by the trio of Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi, President Oborotu Youth Movement, self styled Gen. Ebike Ekemieyefa and Comr. Fakah Solomon, President Burutu community Youth Forum, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
The trio of Napoleon, Ebike and Solomon called on the Federal Government of Nigeria and Ocean Marine Solutions Limited headed by Capt. Hosa Okunbor to immediately take action on this matter as their purported contractors will fail them.
The statement warned that they will not keep quiet any longer as their publications will henceforth be visible both online and national dailies exposing the gross deprivation of youths of the area, stressing that the publications will be frequent.
The revered Oborotu youth body said it was compelled to renew the call following a recent publication by a group claiming to be youths of Ofougbene and Forcados in which they asked the Federal government to disregard their position on the matter, insisting that the contractors are in good terms with the communities.
They noted that even when it is not in their character to respond to ” cheap lies” as peddled by the faceless group but for the purpose of putting the records straight they are compelled to speak up.
They stated “Firstly, we don’t think the said youths are true sons of Oborotu because no true son will involve him or herself in such lies no matter the amount offered the person.”
“It is so surprising and unimaginable to see youths selling their conscience to the extend of fabricating lies of this magnitude all because of to feed their stomachs.”
“Pathetically one Mr.Yerin Jowel on a radio station on Tuesday ranting uncontrollably to the expend of saying that the Federal Govt should reaward the surveillance job to ocean marine because they are comfortable with it.”
“Though It is never surprise to us and never sounds strange because we know him and his reasons for saying so.”
“It will interest the federal govt and the reading public to know that the said Yerin and his cohorts are agents of the contractors,which they pay peanuts to always speak for them.”
“The federal government should also be informed that most of the persons handling the surveillance job do not have touch with the communities because members of the communities have loss trust on them.”
“We’re therefore using this medium to call on Mr.President and all the security agencies to act fast on the petitions we sent as it will help to curtail the excessess of the said contractors and bring peace to our communities.”
“We’re therefore stating it clearly that we shall live no stone unturned and will employ all legal means to ensure that we put a total end to injustice and deprivation the said surveillance contractors are meting on our communities.”
“Finally, we want to advise them to refrain from their self- centeredness, hence we will be forced to unravel their illegal and nefarious deals that are in flagrant disregard of our scared Constitution and the rule of law.” They Stated.
