Former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Barr. (Amb) Roland Pereotubo Oweilaemi has commended Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives over the Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Tuomo, Delta State (Establishment) Bill that has passed third reading in the Nigerian Senate. 

The former president of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide who doubles as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Delta State while commending Pondi on his latest legislative achievement noted that he has many reasons to commend the young and visionary lawmaker. 

The SSA made the commendation via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

According to the revered President of IYC Worldwide, Oweilaemi said apart from him having a close affinity with Hon. Pondi,  the Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Tuomo, Delta State is in Burutu Local Government Area to which he hails from.

Amb. Oweilaemi continued that the college when signed into law will be sited  in his kingdom, Esuku Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, stressing that both his mother and father are from Esuku Kingdom, popularly known as T.T Clan in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

In giving further breakdown on his paternity and maternity in the Kingdom, Oweilaemi said while his father hails from Torugbene community in the Kingdom, his mother hailed from Tuomo, the ancestral headquarter of the Kingdom where the proposed college will be sited when signed into law. 

Speaking further, Pereotubo asserted that a lawmaker that is making efforts to drag education institution to his people showed that he is a leader that truly meant well for his people, stressing that it has been said by scholars all over the world that education is the mother of development.
