Niger Delta rights activist cum Special Assistant, SA to the commissioner for Urban Renewal, Delta State, Comr. Timimene T. Bougha has described the death of his father as devastating.
Timimene made the call yesterday in a tribute issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
He had lamented that his late father High Chief Felix P. Bougha, JP left too soon, stressing that he left at a time his wealth of experience is needed more than ever in Umbi Kingdom and to his family.
In his words: “Death as often said is a necessary end, a must price but you left too sudden in a time, your wealth of wisdom and experience is most needed. It pricks my heart, knowing that, you are gone. It is more devastating that, words as well couldn’t bring you back else I did written as many that could give you life. I will forever miss you Chief, rest well. Adieu Dad!”.
Meanwhile, Comr. Timimene had invited members of the general public, particularly Niger Delta rights activists to grace his father’s burial ceremony with him at Obotebe tomorrow Friday 29th of March 2019 where the remains of his late father will be laid to rest at his country home, Obotebe in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.
He had further noted that measures have been put in place to host the comrade family as they attend the day function.
However, it would be recalled that late Chief Felix Bougha was aged 78 before joining his ancestors on the other side of the world.
