Late Aaron Bebenimibo, alias The bull of Niger Delta Struggle

The Bebenimibo family of Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area, Delta State will tomorrow rally for its fallen hero late Apst Aaron Bebenimibo, alias the Bull of Niger Delta struggle.

This was made known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a media briefing by a grass root leader in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Earnest Bebenimibo, younger brother to the unforgettable fallen hero on behalf of the Bebenimibo family.
Comr. Earnest, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South West Local Government Area had noted that their respected late brother who paid the supreme price of death while fighting for the Niger Delta emancipation will be honoured in ground style, stressing that his memory still lingers.
Earnest had particularly hinted The Liberator Newspaper that it is the Bebenimibo family of Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu kingdom that is organizing the programme to honour their late brother.
In giving a breakdown of the event, he had noted that there will be a rally tomorrow (May 3rd) 2019 at Okerenkoko by the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom and all Niger Deltans that wishes to join them as they will be remembering their brother 16 years after.
However, it would be recalled that immediately after the rally, there will be a symposium at the Okerenkoko community town hall tagged: “Ijaw nation in search for an identity: Remembering Aaron Bebenimibo and the heroes of the struggle in Gbaramatu” which will be handled by Dr. Ebikisei Stanley Udisi, Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, Niger Delta University.
It would be recalled that the Niger Delta Bull of the struggle died at the age of 32 years (1971-2003), his painful demise came on May 3rd 2003 and it was a big blow to the entire Ijaw nation up till this moment as many would describe it.
Meanwhile, Earnest Bebenimibo had used the medium to invite members of the general public to honour the Niger Delta fallen hero with their presence as boats are available at New Man Jetty along the old NPA Warri by 8am tomorrow for the conveyance of people.
Other Niger Delta fallen heroes that hails from Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu kingdom include Joshua Akurusa Johnny, Emmanuel Oturubo, Bomby Adonkia, Joseph German, Isaac Ekpebide, Kabaka Ife, Atu Keniye and others too numerous to mention that are all in blessed memory.
Nevertheless, it would be recalled that high Chief Dan Ekpebide will be the chairman of the day as there are already indications that Okerenkoko will be agog with different categories of people within and outside Niger Delta region.
