God’s Ministry (C.G.S) Int. Inc., popularly known as Salvation City, New Ogbe-Ijoh (N.O) Warri, Delta State. A prominent  Christ believing  church near Warri, along the link to Gbaramatu rivers, celebrated their week long annual spiritual service to mark its 45th spiritual convention. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report

This spiritual convention  is a legacy put in place annually by the founding father of the ministry (Evang. Dr. Samson Youkore Mamamu) before he joined the world beyond.

Subsequently,  Pst. Edwin Boyi, who is the leading Pastor in the ministry religiously  discussed on the theme tagged, “PRAYER, PRAISES AND EXALTATION OF THE WORD OF GOD.”

In his words “let our focus be on God, for many of our villages are not well equipped because people are scared of going to their communities. And if, the person  in question is the bread-winner of the community, how far will the community go. Man is not  expected to be taken away by anxiety, because Christ has connected us to God.”

According to Mr. Solomon Doromo “this spiritual convention has been a life changer for as many that have attended. You can’t attend this programme and go home the same way, something great and good will always happen to you, it is the Lord’s doing “

The ancient Church had in her policy statement called on the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the relevant agencies on the massive development of Niger Delta, particularly the coastal riverine Ijaw communities.

The statement had also called on the President to tackle the issue of insecurity, unemployment, the general high cost of living among Nigerians and other burning issues bedeviling the country.

The statement delivered by Mr. Bubarayi Goddy Ibani on behalf of the Church reads in full below:

POLICY  STATEMENT DELIVERED BY GOD’S MINISTRY AT THE END OF IT’S 45TH ANNUAL  SPIRITUAL  CONVENTION  HELD AT SAVATION CITY, N.O WARRI BEETWEEN 26TH TO 31ST OCTOBER,  2021.

His Excellency

Muhammadu Buhari

President  & Commander In-Chief Of The Armed Forces

Federal Republic of Nigeria

Sir,

The God’s  Ministry International incorporated, a Christian organisation domiciled at Salvation  City, New Ogbe-Ijoh Warri in Delta State of Nigeria,  has just concluded its  45th annual spiritual convention with the theme; Prayers, Praises and Exaltation of the word of  God admonished all christian to embrace the virtues of true selfless  services of God and humanity.

According to the word of God in the book of Romans 12:1-2, genuine Christians are required by God to render their bodies as a living sacrifices, holy and acceptable  unto God as their reasonable service.  The scriptures further warned Christians not to conform with things of the world but to be transformed by the renewing  of their mind that may approve and be acceptable to the perfect will of God.

In view of the disturbing down turn of events today in Nigeria, the God’s Ministry wishes to identify with your administration and to thank God for his mercy and faithfulness in sustaining the corporate existence of Nigeria. We are particularly grateful to God, giving the very turbulent times Nigeria is going through, arising from the activities of Boko Haram, Banditry, insurgency and kidnapping in the country. Despite these very disturbing trends, our dear country is also at the threshold of agitation by some sections of the country demanding for self rule, occasioned by perceived injuries, marginalization and exploitation by the ruling federal government.

The problem of insecurity no doubt contributed intensively to the increasing waves of agitation and suffering by Nigerians because of its impact on food security,  unemployment and rising inflation trend. While the God’s Ministry laments this unfortunate development,  it wishes to earnestly call on the Federal Government to introduce more people-orientated policies and programs in other to alleviate the harsh economic realities faced by Nigerians.

There should be equitable distribution of the nation’s  resources in transparent  and honest manner so as to build the confidence of the citizenry. Vigorous economic policies geared towards wealth creation be urgently put in place to fast-track this effort and consequently galvanize the economy.

The Niger Delta which serves as spring board for Nigeria’s economy should be given a deserving attention. The degradation in the area arising from oil exploration and exploitation  has always been undermined by successive governments.

In view of the  foregoing, the God’s Ministry sincerely  call on President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government to address the issue of shoreline protection in the coastal communities, the Niger Delta whose continous existences is being threatened.

Salvation City,  an oil pipeline community along the Warri coastal waterway in Warri  South/West Local Government Area of Delta State urgently needs government interventions. The Ministry equally wishes to renew its age-long appeal to the Federal Government,  NDDC, and the Delta State Government to construct the Urhobo-Ogbokodo to Salvation City road project believed to have been approved since 2012 but up-till now nothing has been done. While we anticipate government’s early action on this clarion call, the God’s Ministry hereby enjoin other Christian faithfuls to pray God to have mercy on our dear country Nigeria and heal its land and people from the  scourge of the perennial problems of insecurity,  socio-economic and political dilema, especially as the general elections draw near.

Long Live Mr. President

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Long Live Delta State & its Governor

Long Live True Evangelism

Long Live God’s Ministry
