Godspenal 2019 Football Tournament: Okowa, Otuaro, Pondi, Forteta, Agediga, others to storm grand finale

Report reaching the desk of The Liberator Newspaper indicates that His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa and his deputy, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro and member representing Burutu Federal constituency, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi will among other very important dignitaries across the federation grace the anticipated big grand finale of the Godspenal 2019 Football Tournament on November 2nd.
This was made known to The Liberator Newspaper yesterday by Chief sponsor of the tournament, Apst. (Dr) Godspower Tomone, popularly known as Godspenal International.
According to him, others expected to grace the epoch making occasion include
Amb. Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, ED, Planning, Research and Statistics, PRS, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC; Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, member representing Burutu North, Delta State House of Assembly; Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, member representing Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly; Prince Emman Ambgaduba, commissioner Oil & Gas, Delta State; Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State.
Other dignitaries include Coach Erico, former coach of Warri Wolves; Coach Oliver, former Chairman Delta state coaches association; Azuka Chiemeka, sports analyst, Delta state; Victor Ekpeba, former Supper Eagles International; Coach Tetteh Okonkwo, Ex-head coach, Nigeria Super Falcons; Chief Francis Onuora, S.A to the Governor on non indigenous matters; Chief Lucky Ughelli, former chairman league management board D.F.A; Prince Anthony Obaseki, Sport Writer Association of Nigeria (SWAN) representative; Coach George Menetie, Former Coach of super Falcons; Neville, member Nigeria football association among very many others too numerous to mention.
It would be recalled that the grand finale will take place at the Youbebe Football Pitch in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Dr. Tomone hinted our reporter that arrangements and preparations ahead of the grand finale come November 2nd is on top gear as lots of entertainment and side attraction will be put in place to entertain dignitaries.
Also on entertainment, an Ijaw Music kingpin, Chief Kingsley Takemebo, alias Mienkuro will entertain guests at Youbebe till down, a situation many have indicated interest that they can’t afford to miss.
Meanwhile, a rising musical star from Pinaza Records, Lizberg Anemene will perform live before the kick off of the final match.
Beside the various prizes to be won by the winners: First, second and third place, there are other consolation prizes just as trumpetters would be entertaining throughout the ceremony.
Godspower Tomone maintained that the essence of the tournament is to select players that will constitute the Godspenal Football Academy that will be playing for Nigeria football leagues.
“The grand finale will be wonderful, its going to be so exciting, an event we can’t afford to miss” Tomone noted.
Nevertheless, Chief sponsor of the tournament, Godspower Tomone had invited members of the general public to turn out in their numbers to grace the occasion.
It was further learnt that the Godspenal 2019 Football Tournament ended its group stage matches yesterday as the tournament will metamophos to quarter final, known as the knock out stage.
