Godspenal 2019 Football Tournament: Update from yesterday’s matches

As the Godspenal Football Tournament entered its day two yesterday in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, the football teams have continued to slug it out among themselves to qualify at the group stage level.
Scoreline for the yesterday’s matches are:
Glorious FC Vs Island FC at the Ogulagha football pitch ended 0-0
Yokiri FC Vs Topten FC 1-0 at the Youbebe football pitch ended in favour of Yokiri FC who trashed their opponent club by coaxing home with victory.
The match between Youbebe Fc Vs Bacca Boys Fc that was played at the Youbebe Football pitch saw the Youbebe Fc defeating Bacca Boys Fc 1-0.
It would be recalled that this is the maiden edition of the Godspenal Football Tournament.
Chief sponsor and host of the tournament, Apst. (Dr) Godspower Tomone had earlier hinted The Liberator Newspaper that his dream for hosting the football tournament was to increase the bond of unity among people living in the area and to select good players that will constitute the Godspenal Football Academy.
The opening ceremony was done at the Ogulagha football pitch on Thursday 10th 2019 with lots of personalities that thronged Ogulagha to grace the occasion.
