Gov Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa was yesterday in attendance at the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) Ltd JV ‘Host Community Day’ with the Theme, ‘Promoting our cultural Heritage’ at Port Harcourt, Rivers State alongside Governors of Rivers, Imo and Bayelsa states and the Minister for Information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

Also in attendance were the speaker of Delta state, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori represented by Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin and Traditional rulers of Host communities.

Governor was represented by the Honourable commissioner for Oil & Gas, Prince Emman Amgbaduba.

This is the first time the oil firm is organizing such a programme to showcase the rich cultural heritage of their host communities.

The Bayelsa troupe won the cultural display competition, with Rivers, Delta and Imo coming out second, third and forth respectively.
