THE Deputy Leader of Warri South West Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Frank Pukon has described the second term of His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a “reaffirmation of hope to renew his vision on development for Deltans.

Speaking to newsmen shortly before the governor’s inauguration in Asaba, Hon. Pukon said: “Gov. Okowa will rejuvenate the already flourishing economy and continue to build strong security architecture for Deltans.”

Mr. Pukon also reaffirmed his commitment and his insatiable obsession to initiate bills that will better the lot of his constituents; particular the Diebiri people.

This is a defining moment to we the Diebiri people of Warri South West Local Government Area. The Diebiri people have not been re-integrated back to their ancestral land, we still go to bed hungry, many has succumbed to diseases that can’t be treated, our people live a live of penury and intolerable deprivation, Mr. Pukon said; while pleading with Gov. Okowa to change Diebiri’s age-long sad story.

“Too many of Diebiri people were not empowered, especially youths and women alike, adding that “although I know the challenges the state faced were real, but not insurmountable and can be solved,” he stated.
