The  Pondi Grassroot Movement (PGM) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have congratulated their principal, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency for clinching the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to fly the party’s flag in the 2023 general elections for the Burutu House of representatives office.

The Pondi Grassroot Movement issued the congratulatory message to newsmen via a statement personally signed by the national coordinator of the group, Comr. Roland Dede, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday.

The statement while congratulating Pondi on his sweeping victory had noted that the victory would not have been possible without the Lord Almighty and the good spirited delegates that voted for him, praying that the almighty God shall continue to reward them handsomely.

However, Comr. Roland Dede had particularly pledged on behalf of the group that as a group, they will mobilize support massively for Hon. Julius Pondi across the entire Burutu Federal Constituency to enable him win the general elections, adding that the group will be so loyal to the Julius Pondi’s return to the federal house of representatives.

Nevertheless, the group had however, expressed optimism that Pondi will no doubt win in the general elections, stressing that his developmental blueprint is visible across the entire Burutu Federal Constituency.

Mr. Dede continued that with the continuity of Pondi, a better,  stronger and progressive Burutu Federal Constituency is a surebet, describing Pondi as an experienced lawmaker who raises his voice when necessary and has influenced a lot of development to his primary constituency and beyond.

It would be recalled that Hon. Pondi on Sunday 22nd of May 2022 defeated two others at Kiagbodo in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary for the Burutu Federal Constituency to clinch the ticket with 22 votes.
