While describing self styled Gen. Godday Clement as non existent personage in the Niger Delta region, Don Banky had cautioned media practitioners not to promote such frivolous and baseless claims capable of causing tension in the region.
Against claims by Gen. Clement, the Niger Delta Liberation Force, NDLF, had thrown their weight behind Chief Dennis Otuaro as the right choice for the Amnesty office, adding that Dennis Otuaro is a man of integrity that understands the Niger Delta struggle and its terrain.
They said it is now the turn of Delta State to produce the next Amnesty boss, explaining that Chief Dennis Otuaro have toiled and laboured too much for the Niger Delta struggle, hence it is now time to reap from the fruit of his labour.
NDLF had noted that president Mohammadu will make glowing and fantastic history by appointing Chief Dennis Otuaro, noting that he is a man of impeccable character who understands the pains of the people and issues bedeviling the Niger Delta terrain.
They had called on president Buhari to ignore such calls that are allegedly coming from faceless and politically sponsored attacks, noting that personalities behind the open letter are enemies of progress.
