A civil society group, The Indigenous People of Niger Delta and Initiative For Rural Communities have kicked against the non-inclusion of youths in the ministerial list recently sent to the National Assembly for confirmation.

This was made known to newsmen in Warri recently by the national president of the group, Prince Pumokumor Tiemor, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

The group described as unacceptable a situation whereby youths after paying huge sacrifices to keep Nigeria’s Democracy, are forgotten when making appointments.

They berated president Muhammad Buhari for not carrying the youths along saying such act grossly undermined the huge sacrificed that the youths are making to keep the nation moving.

While reminiscing on the contribution of youths in promoting the image of the country, the group noted that youth have always made the nation proud in sports, entertainment and whole lot of laudable technological innovations.

They pleaded with The President to take a second look at its position and include youths in appointments.

”Presidency should reconsider it’s Position and Appoint Youths in befitting offices so we can continue to contribute our part in Nation building”

Recall that President Muhammad Buhari recently sent a list of 43 ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for approval but no single youth made the list
