…Condoles with family, Ogbe-Ijoh people

The member representing Warri South West Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has while sympathizing with the Mamamu’s family over the demise of late Chief. Dr. S.Y Mamamu described his death as a fall of an Iroko tree in Ijaw nation. 

This was contained in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

He particularly condoled with the Mamamu’s family as well as the people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, stressing that his wealth of experience, knowledge and unprecedented wisdom will be greatly missed. 

The statement reads below: 

On behalf of family and the good people of Warri South West State Constituency, I wish to express my sincere condolences to the immediate family and the entire Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom over the passing of the elder statesman, the late Chief S.Y Mamamu.

The late Chief S.Y Mamamu was a forthright Ijaw leader who worked for the progress of the Ijaw Nation in his lifetime.

My hearts and prayers are with family and the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom in this difficult times.

While we are saddened by his demise, we are also comforted that he lived a life of impact. 

May the Lord grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
